" Don't hold back, we're ready for ya! " - Since you asked... :) Your loyal following is a 30 and older crowd ( generally speaking )... products of the 60's, 70's and 80's. While I enjoy most of the newer groups / songs you play, crap like " Stacey's Mom " does not have " it going on ". These type of songs should be dropped immediately and replaced w/ more classic hard rock artists. The most notable absence being the Motor City Madman, Red Ted Nugent.

BBC members have a history. Les, Rick and Brian all have original songs from prior groups. I've heard all three and there is some very good music there. I suggest each person choose one or two original songs from the past, BBC learn them and add them to the play list. Adding some original music will not diminish your appeal, in fact, it will set you apart from every other strictly cover band.

This advice is worth what you paid for it. Aloha.

I'm hip Chuck. You're not the first to make those requests for what to add and what to drop. We like to keep as much variety as possible on the back burner so we can play requests but we try to keep the meat of the rotation firmly rooted in our strengths - hard rock! Ted's on the list of tunes to learn. No excuse other than - so many songs, so little time! We're even kicking around writing some new original stuff together. I'll keep you posted.

I guess the old saying is right. You really can't please all of the people all of the time. I personally don't concern myself too much with pleasing anyone, just to make it a reachable goal. But seriously, song selection is 100% subjective. What you hate, the guy (or girl) next to you may love. If you ask 10 people you'll get 10 different answers. Most of our regulars are early to mid 30's. They seem to like the 80's big hair stuff. To them, Ted Nugent & Pink Floyd are oldies. We try to cover as much ground as possible & with that, no one is going to like every single song, not even us!

The show at Peacox last friday was awesome! You all are very, very talented. I'm glad I moved back down here from Minneapolis, and am truly glad you still play out. Les, great drum solo during "Moby Dick"! Brian, great solo for "Over the Mountain"! Dave and Rick, you guys are solid as a rock, killer vocals plus musicianship. "Steve-Fest" was awesome!! Most of the bands were spawned & have their beginnings from the same era & it was awesome to get everyone together for a day of great live rock 'n roll. I wanted to say thanks to those that had a hand in organizing the event & to all that donated time, $$ &/or merchandise.
